Success? What does that mean? How do we achieve it? So many have written books, produce; YouTube videos or podcasts to explain or show us how to become successful.
As we embark on life, I realize what works for them may not work for you or me; however, I have discovered and incorporated a few consistent things:
1) Read as often as possible. I read every day. READER ADDICTED..I AM! In the busy world, I have incorporated audio-books but love an actual book in my hands. The more we expose ourselves to learning and imagining......the more we will learn, imagine and discover is possible!
2) Health has to be a priority. People think "being" healthy is a trend. It is not. Science data has proven if we do not take care of ourselves today, we will deal with it later. Long workday, poor eating habits or simply not taking breaks will limit what we are able to do.
3) Goals! Plans! Action! I used to be a person who would write down things that I wished to happen. No date set, no real plan. I would just make a list, stuck in a notebook or bible. It felt good for a minute. I felt accomplished. Asked me...where are any those lists are today? I have no idea.
Instead, make goals, yes..write them down; however, keep them in front of you! Review things....adjust them...make them a part of your daily life. Take one step at a time. Yes, even the scary ones when you have no clue what to do or how to do it.
4) People are great teachers. I am a student every day in life. Like reading, I learn, watch, listen and follow people who do incredible things in the world.
5) Grateful attitude is critical. You will not take this journey alone. People and opportunities will be placed along the way to assist you. I am thankful and grateful for all those have or will cross my path.
I know there are more items that I can add; however, I hope you get the point. Do what you need to do. Take the risk. Every day you are important to the world. Let's make an amazing impact on it.
Make it Happen!
